- A mission to empower young people, strengthen families,
- and create sustainable community impact through
- education, service, and long-term partnership.
CAMPAIGN INFO
This campaign supports a service-learning partnership between GIANT Mindset,
a youth leadership and development organization, and Esperanza Infantil, a
nonprofit organization serving vulnerable children and families in Oaxaca, Mexico.
In Summer 2026, a carefully selected team of 6 young adults will spend two months
living and working directly within the Esperanza Infantil community. During
this time, the team will not only serve children but also help strengthen the
organization itself through education, systems, storytelling, and long-term capacity
building.
THIS CAMPAIGN IS DESIGNED TO
- Support children who lack consistent access to education and basic needs
- Address food insecurity and transportation barriers
- Invest in facilities and infrastructure that serve families year-round
- Develop young leaders through hands-on, purpose-driven service
Total Fundraising Goal: approximately $40,000
This total reflects real, transparent costs and direct community impact, not
overhead or profit.
FUNDS BREAKDOWN
PARTICIPANT PROGRAM COSTS — $25,350
This portion of funding makes the mission possible by safely and responsibly sending the service team to Oaxaca.
IT COVERS
- International flights and travel insurance
- Housing and living expenses for two months
- Food and daily necessities
- Program materials and educational supplies for workshops
- Technology and documentation equipment to support fundraising and storytelling
- Local transportation and program activities
- Emergency medical and contingency funds
- Team gear to represent the mission professionally
This is not luxury travel.
These funds ensure the team can focus fully on serving, teaching, and building
impact without financial barriers or safety risks.
Child Sponsorships — $9,000 to $18,000
Child sponsorship is one of the most direct and meaningful ways to support this mission.
These Funds Will
- Sponsor 30 to 60 children for a full year
- Cover educational programming, enrichment, supervision, and support
- Ensure children are not turned away due to lack of funding
$300 sponsors one child for an entire year
That’s just $25 per month to give a child access to stability, learning, and opportunity.
This category allows donors to see exactly who they are helping and how.
Food Security Program — $3,000 to $5,000
Many families served by Esperanza Infantil face food insecurity, which directly impacts children’s ability to learn and thrive.
This Funding Provides
- Meals and groceries for children and their families
- Short-term relief and ongoing nutritional support
- Dignified assistance that supports family stability
Food security ensures that children come to programs nourished, focused, and ready to learn.
Transportation Access — $2,000 to $3,000
Transportation is often an invisible barrier that prevents children from attending programs consistently.
These Funds Help Cover
- Bus fares, fuel vouchers, or shared transportation
- Reliable access to and from the Esperanza Infantil center
- Increased attendance and continuity in education

Building & Infrastructure — $3,000 to $5,000+
